Yaoh’s hemp salve is a wonderful product in part because its main ingredient is, in fact, organic hemp seed oil. And it is also the highest concentration of hemp oil for any Yaoh product. Hemp oil when applied directly to the skin has a restorative and healing effect, and the addition of some herbal extracts, including calendula, rosemary and comfrey leaves, all renowned for their healing properties, enhances this ointment further. The salve also contains sunflower oil and oregon cherry oil, in addition to a vegan wax base made from carnauba wax and candelilla wax.
Yaoh hemp salve is ideal for damaged skin, skin abrasions and challenging skin conditions, and is, in particular, a very useful ointment for babies especially for rashes, with its natural soothing properties. The salve is also very good for tattoo aftercare and has a natural antiseptic property.
The hemp salve is made regularly in small batches to ensure a fresh product and should be used within 12 months of opening.
