Sunday June 1st – 2.30pm SMITH & WILLOX, at 5.00pm it's BABYHEAD, and at 7.30pm it's BAD MANNERS

Advance Weekend Tickets

Day Tickets – Pay on Gate

There are no advance day tickets available for just single days (due to high costs of processing), but there will be access available each day, pay on the gate, £5 each day. This event may sell out especially if the weather is good which is why advance weekend tickets are available, which guarantee you access any time over the weekend – but if you can only come for one day and don't want a weekend advance ticket, you can arrive early and pay £5 on the gate. Please note though that especially if the weather is good you should arrive early if you want to pay on the gate.

Kids under 12 and OAP's

Kids under 12 and OAPs pay £1 on the gate each day, pay on the gate (no advance tickets for Kids or Oaps available). Please bring photo id if your kids are under 12 but 'look' over 12!! Only 2 kids under 12 allowed per adult over 18, and all kids under 12 MUST be accompanied by adults over 18. OAP's will find plenty of seating and 'quiet' areas (away from the bands and in the shade!) to relax and enjoy the fayre. Please bring proof of status if necessary, thanks.

Access All Areas

You need either an advance weekend ticket or a day ticket to access all areas of the BVF 08, including the stalls, talks and demos, caterers, bars, entertainment and bands.

Special Guests

Our special guests for the BVF 08 are VEGFAM, a charity set up to help Feed The Hungry Without Exploiting Animals. They do massive amounts of most excellent work across the globe, and we are supporting them once again, with a collection both days for Vegfam. And this year we also welcome aboard The Big Issue for the first time – they will be having a gazebo pitch at the BVF 08 and will be on hand to talk about some of their work – you can also meet some of the South West team and also some of their top vendors as well as pick up a copy of the latest issue of The Big Issue

Vegan Environmental Awards 008

The last month and the last chance to vote!!! Winners will be announce on Sunday June 1st at the BVF 08 on the Acoustic Stage at 3pm. Lines close at midnite May 31st – Vote now for your fave vegan people, projects, publications, products and organisations.

Health & Safety Regulations

The BVF 08 is staged along with the cooperation of a huge amount of people but especially with Bristol City Council and the relevant authorities that help make events like these so safe and well organised. We have the utmost respect for them all and are politely asking all our visitors to respect the rules and regulations that apply to this event – which includes the following

• No animals or bicycles on site please
• No alcohol or food to be brought on site please
• The BVF 08 is a No Smoking Zone
• Please respect our security, stewards and our organiser's team.
• The BVF is a wheelchair friendly site

This months competition was going to be something based around Liverpool's Chumpions League semi final hero John Arne Riise being arrested on the M62 (apparently for heading in the wrong direction) but we did actually get some complaints last time about our blatant dislike of Anfields residents so we scrubbed that one for now, sure there will be plenty more opportunities in the future especially if Rafa and the Shermans stay 'in charge' of this current bunch of comedians for yet another season.
