The talks and Demos areas of the BVF are an essential part of the show and for 2008 we have 5 areas with 12 talks and demos each over the 2 days – a stunning total of 60 talks and demos covering every aspect of the vegan lifestyle. The areas include Vegan Nutrition, Living Raw and Campaigns talks rooms, the Raw Food Prep Zone, and the Cookery Demos area once again hosted by the affable Tony Bishop Weston, or Long John Tofu as he usually appears on the day. Football minnows Havant and Waterloo recently embarrassed once mighty Liverpool in front of a packed Anfield and also on TV in front of millions in the FA Cup 4th round. Havant went one nil up and then two – one up when a Roy of the Rovers type character with curly hair scored for Havant to shame the red half of Liverpool, to the delight of all Havant and Everton supporters everywhere. The name of the scorer for Havant's second goal was:

B) Dixie Dean
C) Kevin Keegan
D) Dirk Kuyt (probably not – he doesn't score very often)
